"Magic Maker - How to Create Magic in Another World" is a captivating fantasy series that delves into the intricacies of magic in a mystical world. Originally a popular web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou, it has been adapted into both light novel and manga formats by author Kazuki Kaburagi. The narrative follows Shion, a modern-day individual who, after an unexpected death, is reincarnated in a new world devoid of magic. Despite the initial disappointment, a turn of events leads Shion, alongside his sister Marie, to embark on an ambitious quest to uncover and master the secrets of magic.
The teaser materials give a glimpse into this enchanting tale, showcasing Shion’s journey from a magic-less existence to becoming a pioneer in magical research. The character's voice, featured in the trailer, adds a deeper layer to the already intriguing protagonist.
The announcement also confirmed the main voice cast. Megumi Han will voice Shion, the protagonist determined to unravel the mysteries of magic in his new world, while Ai Kakuma will play his devoted sister Marie, who takes up swordsmanship to protect her brother.
