The final episode of the second season of the anime Urusei Yatsura will air on Thursday, June 20, 2024. Episode 46, titled "Boy Meets Girl: I Want You When I Can't Have You" has released its synopsis and preview cuts.
Urusei Yatsura is the groundbreaking debut work of Rumiko Takahashi, a manga artist still thriving on the front lines today. This romantic comedy features Earth's "most troublesome" high school student, Ataru Moroboshi, and the beautiful alien girl Lum who descended from space, along with a colorful cast of characters gathered from across the galaxy.
The anime was created as a brand-new series spanning four cours to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Shogakukan's founding. The first season aired from October 2022 to March 2023, and the second season started airing in January 2024.
As the TV anime “Urusei Yatsura” reaches its grand finale on June 20, the synopsis and preview cuts for the episode have arrived ahead of the broadcast.

Due to Carla’s mishap, Earth is covered with giant mushrooms, facing a crisis of extinction.
Only Rupa's pig can remove these giant mushrooms. Lum challenges Ataru to a game of tag, with the pig that can save Earth at stake. If he wants to catch her, he must say, "I love you～～～～～～～!" The final game of tag between Lum, who wants to hear "I love you," and the stubborn Ataru begins!
The final episode, "Boy Meets Girl: I Want You When I Can't Have You" will air on June 20 on Fuji TV’s “Noitamina” and other networks.
