The "Gege Akutami's 'Jujutsu Kaisen' Exhibition," which delves into the behind-the-scenes of the manga, will be held from July 6 to August 27, 2024, at "Hikarie Hall" in Shibuya Hikarie. To celebrate this, a collaboration event named "Hikarie Incident" will take place throughout the Shibuya Hikarie complex.
"Gege Akutami's 'Jujutsu Kaisen' Exhibition" will showcase the creative process of the manga "Jujutsu Kaisen" through digital methods, with commentary from the author. The exhibition will feature the creation, evolution, and construction of the story, characters, and illustrations, including valuable drafts and sketches before they become final manuscripts.
As part of the "Hikarie Incident" collaboration, illustrations from "Jujutsu Kaisen" drawn by Akutami will decorate the hall, and six photo spots will be set up. Life-size panels of Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Satoru Gojo from Tokyo Jujutsu High, and Mahito and Kenjaku from the "Shibuya Incident" will be available, along with a panel where you can experience the moment of being sealed in the Prison Realm. It's a perfect opportunity to fully immerse yourself in those intense moments.
From August 1st, a "Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition Support Fair" will start in participating cafes and restaurants within the hall. The special menus will pair characters who faced off in the "Shibuya Incident," such as "Yuji Itadori x Choso," "Megumi Fushiguro x Toji Fushiguro," "Nobara Kugisaki x Mahito," "Satoru Gojo x Kenjaku," and "Ryomen Sukuna x Mahoraga," represented in bicolor themes. Ordering from these menus will get you a limited-edition original sticker.
The "Hikarie Incident" collaboration, in celebration of the "Gege Akutami's 'Jujutsu Kaisen' Exhibition," will feature photo spots from July 6th to August 27th, and the support fair will run from August 1st to 27th. Be sure to check it out when you visit the exhibition.
