The eagerly awaited second season of Oshi no Ko launched on July 3rd, continuing its streak of delivering top-notch storytelling and animation.
Oshi no Ko, based on the wildly successful manga by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari—which has sold over 17.5 million copies—dives into the glitzy yet gritty world of showbiz. The story begins with Goro, a country town gynecologist, who meets his favorite idol, Ai from "B Komachi," under the worst possible circumstances, unveiling a dark secret that changes their lives forever.
The first season aired from April to June 2023, capturing the hearts of viewers. The latest season follows characters such as Aqua, Kana Arima, and Akane Kurokawa as they get set to star in the 2.5D stage version of the fictional series "Tokyo Blade."

Additionally, Season 2's Blu-ray & DVD will be released in six volumes, with the first volume dropping on October 25th. The opening theme "Fatal" is now available for streaming, and a Season 2 character song CD and the original soundtrack CD have been announced as well. Keep an eye out for these exciting releases.
