It has been officially announced that JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 7, Steel Ball Run, will be adapted into an anime. Alongside the announcement, a teaser visual, character visuals, and a promo video were released. The adaptation was revealed during the “JOJODAY STAGE” fan event held on April 12, 2025, which celebrated the past and future of the anime series.
To commemorate the announcement, a special event titled "JOJOCARAVAN" will begin a nationwide tour starting in Shibuya. This exhibition will feature replica artwork from the manga, color illustrations, monochrome pages, photo spots, and displays from the anime series. Limited-edition goods exclusive to the event will also be available.
Steel Ball Run, the seventh part of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series by Hirohiko Araki, is set in late 19th-century America and follows the story of Johnny Joestar, a former genius jockey who is now paralyzed from the waist down. He teams up with the mysterious Gyro Zeppeli to compete in a cross-country horse race for a massive cash prize. However, beneath the surface of the race lies a dark and powerful conspiracy. The series brings a fresh sense of adventure and a return to the roots of the JoJo saga.
