Things are heating up in the world of DANDADAN! A brand-new Season 2 trailer has just been released, and it’s packed with intense action, strange creatures, and unexpected twists.
Alongside the trailer, it’s been announced that the new opening theme will be “Kakumei Douchuu” (“Revolution Journey”), performed by none other than Aina the End. About DANDADAN
DANDADAN is based on the hit manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, currently serialized on Shonen Jump+ (Shueisha).

The story follows Momo Ayase, a high school girl born into a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult fanatic.

Together, they face bizarre supernatural phenomena in this action-packed, horror-tinged coming-of-age tale. A refreshing mix of ghost stories, sci-fi chaos, and high school drama, the manga has surpassed 10 million copies in circulation.
The anime boasts a stellar voice cast, including:

New Trailer Teases Intense Showdowns

The newly released second trailer kicks off with a menacing scene featuring a mysterious man in briefs, dripping with ominous energy. We then get glimpses of:
- Jiji showing sympathy to the cursed being
- Turbo Granny scolding
- Momo getting punched by the brief-wearing villain
- Okarun locked in a fierce battle with said villain

Other visuals hint at new characters and episodes—including a strange aliens that look like musicians, and Momo rocking a maid outfit. Let’s just say, it’s chaotic in the best way possible.
Aina the End Performs “Kakumei Douchuu”
The trailer also lets us hear a sample of the new opening song “Kakumei Douchuu” by Aina the End. She shared a heartfelt comment about the track:
“While carrying the sentiment of a bittersweet love, I tried to capture the image of running forward to protect what matters most. It reflects the emotions of both Momo and Okarun, and I hope it gives strength to anyone struggling. It’s one of my favorite songs.”

DANDADAN Season 2 airs every Thursday at 12:26 AM (JST) starting July 3, 2025 on MBS/TBS’s “Super Animeism TURBO” block, simultaneously broadcast Japan nationwide. Streaming will begin shortly after airing on major platforms, so fans overseas won't be left behind!
