It's official—the final chapter of the Attack on Titan anime will be released in theaters. Titled Attack on Titan: The Last Attack, the film will premiere on Japanese cinemas on November 8, 2024.
Attack on Titan: The Last Attack movie reimagines the content from The Final Season Parts 1 and 2, now polished into a 145-minute feature film enhanced with 5.1 channel surround sound. Continuing from the final part of The Final Season, the theme song will again be performed by Linked Horizon, with their new hit To You 2000…or…20000 Years From Now…
Director Yuichiro Hayashi expressed his personal fulfillment in achieving this long-held ambition as he commented on the upcoming theatrical release.
"Finally, I am thrilled to announce this release. It’s a culmination of our efforts envisioned initially as a cinematic experience, now realized in the best possible setting—the cinemas. We’re also upgrading the visuals further, so please come and feel the 'rumbling' at the cinema!"
Don’t say you can always watch the finale on streaming… Seeing it in a movie format as originally intended, and now getting the chance to present it in theaters, is a dream come true for me. Attack on Titan: The Last Attack is set to shake the foundations in cinemas across Japan on Friday, November 8, 2024.
