Figure-riseLABO series, challenging new expressions in plastic model kits. The fourth installment focuses on the theme of "translucent suit that adheres to the skin"! From the movie "Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance", Asuka in the "Test Plug Suit" worn for Eva Unit 3 test piloting makes her appearance!
Utilizing molding techniques to create shading for body representation. The clear orange parts representing the suit adhering to the skin are molded using a special technique ranging from approximately 3mm to as thin as 0.3mm. The combination of carefully selected materials aims to achieve a realistic presence.
With eye-tracking injection (eye insert molding), the model kit achieves a gaze that seems as if Asuka is looking directly at you. The molds are processed considering the characteristics and texture of various overlapping parts.
The original model kit is a collaboration with "ALTER".
