"My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: You're Next" is set to premiere on August 2, 2024. To make things even more exciting, a special admission gift featuring an original manga by Kohei Horikoshi and a visually stunning movie ticket designed by him have just been unveiled.
"My Hero Academia," serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since July 2014 and now boasting over 40 volumes with a total circulation surpassing 100 million copies, continues its saga with the latest season of the anime airing since this May. Following the success of its previous movies — the first in August 2018, the second in December 2019, and the third in August 2021 — this latest installment marks a highly anticipated return to the big screen after three years.
This time, attendees will receive a special comic, "My Hero Academia Vol.Next," packed with exclusive content that can only be enjoyed here. This includes an original manga drawn by Kohei Horikoshi capturing the daily lives of Class 1-A, a prequel to the current movie, alongside designs and settings for original movie characters like Julio, Anna, and Dark Might. Additionally, there's a special conversation between Kohei Horikoshi and Vaundy, and extensive interviews with the cast and staff. This collector's item is limited to 1.5 million copies nationwide and is available only in theaters.
The pre-sale ticket, adorned with visuals drawn by Kohei Horikoshi, has also been revealed. Featuring Deku with his fist clenched and the cool new movie-exclusive character Julio standing back-to-back, it captures a moment of calm before the storm. This exclusive ticket is available only to subscribers of the Weekly Shonen Jump web edition through the Shonen Jump+ Zeblack app and comes as a set with a sticker and a clear file adorned with the same visuals.
